LIDL mini kamado BBQ adventures started here!
After using a cheap offset smoker for past year, this is the moment where I take a step in another direction to see how ceramic BBQs work compared to 1mm thick metal cheap offset smokers (COS). For the money (under £80), this is a chance to see how Big Green Eggs BBQs work without the large initial outlay - great if you are just getting started or thinking of joining the smoking game.
The latest BBQ tool for my outdoor cooking adventures ... a mini green egg BBQ (or copycat version from LIDL). Have made butter, marmalade & smoked paprika roast BBQ chicken as first test.
I was pretty amazed that you can get a whole chicken into the LIDL mini BBQ. Being a smaller BBQ, it's going to be very efficient on charcoal and has the potential for using cold smoking tubes.
